Ongjin County (Governor Moon Kyung-bok) announced that it will accept applications for the 2025 Rural Housing Improvement Project (loan support) at each myeon office from January 20 to February 21.
The rural housing improvement project is a project to support housing improvement in order to improve the old and poor housing environment in rural areas and to encourage the influx of urban residents. In particular, the purpose is to reduce the financial burden on residents by providing loans at lower interest rates than the market for a portion of the application costs.
The target house is a single-family house with a floor area of 150㎡ or less, and the loan limit is up to 250 million won for new construction and up to 150 million won for extensions and major repairs. In addition, up to 2.8 million won can be received as an acquisition tax reduction benefit.

An Ongjin County official emphasized, “We hope that many residents will apply for the rural housing improvement project to create a pleasant living environment,” and “Ongjin County will continue to work hard to improve living conditions and revitalize rural areas by strengthening housing welfare and promoting various projects in the future.”
