Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) announced that it will operate various media education and experience programs for youth at Yangwon Media Center and Myeonmok Media Center in the district during the winter vacation of 2025. This program provides opportunities to foster digital citizenship awareness and creativity for various age groups, from elementary school students to middle and high school students.

Yangwon Media Center operates the ‘Raising Digital Citizenship Awareness in Our Children with Roblox’ program for 5th and 6th graders. This class focuses on learning the value of cooperation through game development and increasing digital literacy. Myeonmok Media Center offers ‘Family Arcade’ broadcast production experience with family, ‘Post Office with Heart’ to send greetings in preparation for Lunar New Year, and ‘Question Store’, a video production program containing various opinions of youth.

For middle and high school students, there are **’Nopil Film School Film Character Acting Class’** and **’Scenario Creation Class’** that focus on film production. In the acting class, students learn how to analyze characters in a scenario and express them realistically. In addition, the scenario creation class includes a process where participants complete their own story as a short film. The completed work will be produced as a film at **’Youth Film Camp 2025’** held during summer vacation.

Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi said, “Jungnang-gu is the only district in the country that operates two media centers, providing diverse media education and experience opportunities to residents,” and added, “I hope that many young people will participate in this winter vacation program and have a meaningful time.” More information can be found on the Jungnang Media Center website. This winter, it is expected to be a special learning and experience opportunity for young people.
