Michuhol-gu Hakik 1-dong Residents’ Autonomy Council announced on the 6th that it opened the doors to the ‘Village Academy’ in the first half of 2025, starting with the ‘Making Christmas Lights’ program that began in December of last year.
The ‘Making Christmas Lights’ program is a class where students recycle empty bottles, draw pictures, and put light bulbs in them to make beautiful Christmas lights. A total of 18 residents participated and had a great time completing lights that made Christmas even more splendid.
Then, on December 5th, the ‘Let’s Play in Sayeon’ program was held. Seven children participated in this program, and it received a great response from parents as a time to develop children’s imagination and problem-solving skills through play and creative activities.
In the first half of 2025, two new programs will be opened. The programs starting on the 23rd are ▲Body Croquis & Pencil Sketch, ▲Simple Sentences and Korean Reading, ▲Personality Diagnosis Workshop (MBTI), ▲Organization Skills, etc. Through these, residents will be able to develop the skills they need in their daily lives, and will contribute to not only their personal growth but also to strengthening their sense of community.
