Goyang Special City (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) held a ceremony to deliver masks of love to the vulnerable with SB Global Healthcare at the open market room in the city hall on the 15th. This delivery ceremony was attended by 8 people including Goyang Special City Mayor Lee Dong-hwan, SB Global Healthcare CEO Lee Seung-hyeon, and Community Chest of Korea Gyeonggi Northern Business Headquarters Director Lee Gyeong-ah.
Through this donation, SB Global Healthcare delivered 129,600 masks worth a total of 115,344,000 won. These masks are scheduled to be distributed to social welfare facilities and institutions in Goyang City through the Community Chest of Korea before the Lunar New Year holiday.
SB Global Healthcare is a company well known for its ‘Kim Tae-hee Mask (Aibanari Mask)’, and has been continuously supporting vulnerable groups at home and abroad since its establishment by Chairman Lee Sang-bong in 2020. In particular, it has been consistently donating masks to overseas regions such as Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and the cumulative donation amount to date has reached approximately 20 million.
At the ceremony that day, CEO Seunghyun Lee said, “Now that masks have become a daily necessity, we will continue our sharing activities so that our struggling neighbors around us can stay healthy.”
Goyang Special City Mayor Lee Dong-hwan expressed his gratitude for the company’s good deed, saying, “As the temperature has recently dropped sharply and the dry weather has led to the spread of influenza, I would like to thank you for your valuable donation that will help protect the health and safety of our underprivileged neighbors in Goyang City.”
SB Global Healthcare’s recent mask donation is not limited to providing simple supplies, but is being evaluated as an exemplary case of corporate social responsibility through cooperation with the local community. Goyang City plans to continue expanding various welfare policies and support activities for vulnerable groups in the region.
