Sejong City Arum-dong Beomjigi Oriental Medicine Clinic, Participates in Spreading Donation Culture as a ‘Good Oriental Medicine Clinic’

Beomjigi Korean Medicine Clinic in Areum-dong, Sejong Special Self-Governing City, led the local community’s donation culture and participated in the Good Store Movement. On the 16th, the Areum-dong Community Security Council and the Sejong Community Welfare Fund Raising Association presented a ‘Good Korean Medicine Clinic’ signboard to Beomjigi Korean Medicine Clinic to commemorate their warm sharing practices. With this, Beomjigi Korean Medicine Clinic was registered as the 29th Good Store in Areum-dong and stood at the center of local community welfare.

The Good Store Movement is a social contribution activity in which self-employed business owners and organizations regularly donate a certain amount of their sales (at least 30,000 won). This movement, which can be participated in regardless of the industry, plays an important role in securing welfare resources for the local community.

Director Oh Jeong-min of Beomjigi Hospital said, “I decided to make regular donations after thinking about what I can do for the local community,” and added, “I will continue to practice sharing and contribute, even if only a little, to the development of local welfare.”

“I would like to express my deep gratitude for the positive influence shown by Assemblyman Beom Ji-gi,” said Lee In-hwan, co-chairman of the Areum-dong Community Security Council. “I hope that this culture of sharing will spread further and bring about warm changes throughout Areum-dong.”

Currently, the Arumdong Community Security Council is using regular donations from good stores and good families to support vulnerable groups and promote specialized projects. These projects provide practical help to needy neighbors in the region and contribute to eliminating blind spots in welfare.

The registration of Beomjigihan Hospital as a good hospital goes beyond simple donations and is becoming an example of spreading the culture of donation and sharing in the local community. It is expected that this good influence that started in Areumdong will spread further and provide opportunities for more people to participate in sharing.
