Enhancing administrative efficiency through digital transformation

The digital government platform is a system that aims to reduce time and costs by converting the existing paper document and face-to-face administrative method to a data and automation-based one. Through this, the corporation reduced 307 non-electronic documents by introducing Document 24 and minimized 11,416 required documents by utilizing the administrative information sharing system, thereby improving the convenience of using public facilities.

Expanding data-driven administration with AI technology

Starting in 2024, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety will actively introduce AI automatic meeting minutes and AI document recognition systems to strengthen data-based administration. These technologies are expected to enable faster and more accurate record creation and innovation in data management, thereby realizing more systematic public service provision.

Presenting a new direction for public services

Cho So-yeon, CEO of Sejong City Facilities Corporation, said, “By utilizing the digital government platform, we have achieved results such as reducing the budget required for building and operating information systems while increasing the efficiency of administrative work,” and “We will continue to do our best to actively introduce new technologies and provide user-centered public services.”

Sejong City Facilities Corporation’s recent administrative innovation is evaluated as an important case in going beyond simple efficiency improvement to shifting the direction of public services to a digital-centered one and establishing a sustainable administrative system.
