The road construction of the Gogidong Senior Citizens’ Association Gwaneumsa section (2.58 km), which had been difficult to pass due to its narrow road width despite heavy traffic, is scheduled to be completed within the first half of the year. In addition, the construction of the remaining two urban planning roads, including ‘Gogidong Restaurant Street ~ Dongcheon-dong Malgurigoge’ and ‘Seongbok-dong Restaurant Street Area’, is scheduled to be expedited.
Suji-gu is improving the sidewalks and roads of old residential areas to provide a pleasant environment. The sidewalks near Sinbong 1-ro, Daedeok Park, and Sinbong 2-ro will be improved, and the roads near Sohyeon Elementary School, Sanghyeon-ro, and Hyeonam Middle School will be repaved sequentially within the year.
Improvement of pedestrian roads and walking paths will also be promoted. In areas 770 and 776 (near Pungdeok Elementary School) and 776 (near Towol Elementary School) of Pungdeokcheon-dong, old security lights and pavement will be repaired to create a safe pedestrian environment.
In the buffer green space at 908 Dongcheon-dong (near Orion Logistics Center), drainage facilities will be installed to prepare for heavy rain, and in the buffer green space at 1309 Jukjeon-dong (in front of Kkotme Village Halla Provence 2nd), bollard lights will be installed to ensure safety at night.
In addition, landscape lighting will be installed on the walking path at 1171 Sang-hyeon-dong (Gwanggyo Forest Village) and green areas will be maintained to provide a pleasant walking environment that residents can use with confidence.
