Ongjin-gun Yeongheung-myeon (Chief Hwang Yeong-mi) announced that on the 14th, a clean-up day event was held to create a clean environment for the Lunar New Year holiday, with the participation of about 40 people including local senior citizens’ associations, women’s associations, and myeon office staff.
This cleanup day focused on roadside environmental improvement, such as removing fallen leaves and weeds along the main road near Yeongheung-myeon Sports Complex.

Yeongheung-myeon mayor Hwang Yeong-mi said, “I would like to thank all the residents who participated in the cleanup day despite the cold weather,” and added, “Yeongheung-myeon will continue to work to create a clean and pleasant village environment.”
