Yongin Special City 'Employment Capacity Enhancement Academy' Recruits 30 Young Job Seekers

Yongin Special City (Mayor Lee Sang-il) announced on the 14th that it is recruiting participants for the ‘Employment Capacity Enhancement Academy’, which is operated free of charge to support young job seekers in obtaining qualifications and preparing for employment. It plans to recruit 30 people from the 16th to the 26th, and to help with practical job preparation through various online courses and offline special lectures.

Yongin Special City is operating the ‘Employment Capacity Enhancement Academy’ to enhance the employment capacity of unemployed youth and reduce their economic burden, and is recruiting participants from the 16th to the 26th. The recruitment target is youth aged 18 to 39 who reside in Yongin City, and a total of 30 people will be selected.

This academy offers a total of 71 courses in 7 fields including computer utilization, TOEIC, TOEIC Speaking/OPIC, Korean, Korean history, second foreign language (HSK/JLPT), NCS, and job training such as resume/interview, free of charge.

Young people can freely take classes through a dedicated online learning site for about 10 months from February to November. Those who wish to participate will also be given the opportunity to participate in offline job training. The special lecture topics include job preparation strategies and job training, and the detailed curriculum will be finalized based on the preferences of participants, and the schedule and location will be announced separately.

Applications can be submitted online through the ‘Jobaba Apply Integrated Application System (https://apply.jobaba.net)’ operated by Yongin Special City, and selected participants can take the entire course for free.

City officials said, “We have prepared this academy to provide practical help to young people who are spending a lot of time and money in the process of preparing for employment,” and added, “We hope that the young people of Yongin will actively utilize the provided educational content to develop their employment capabilities and achieve good results.”
