This program is called ‘Learn English through Play’ and is targeted at families with children aged 4 to 7 living in Jinju City. It is operated at the Family Co-parenting Sharing Center and one guardian and one child per household can participate.
Applications for the program will begin at 10:00 a.m. on January 17, 2025. You can apply for the program by registering as a member on the Jinju City Family Center website and then going to My Page. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

The curriculum provides customized play-based English education for children ages 4, 5, and 6. Four-year-old children learn English sensorily through thematic English play, while five-year-old children receive activity-based education using English words. Six-year-old children experience reading-based English learning by linking play and English books.
The operating schedule is from February to July 2025, and will be held every Wednesday for 10 weeks. The training is provided free of charge, and a total of 16 people can participate in each class.
An official from the Jinju City Family Center said, “We have created a natural learning environment using play so that children can come into contact with English without feeling burdened,” and added, “We hope this will be an opportunity for parents and children to participate together and form a bond.”
