Ongjin-gun, New Year's agricultural practical education conducted for 2 months

Ongjin County (Governor Moon Kyung-bok) announced that it will conduct practical agricultural education for the new year, targeting approximately 1,000 farmers and returning farmers in the county, over a total of 13 sessions over 42 days, starting from Bukdo-myeon on January 10th and ending in Baekryeong-myeon on the 20th of next month.

The New Year’s Farmer Practical Education is a specialized technical education program for farmers conducted annually. It will be conducted as specialized education to improve on-site problem-solving capabilities through publicizing major agricultural policies and changes for 2025, education on the latest agricultural technologies including core cultivation technologies for food, income crops, and major items, and Q&A.

Moon Kyung-bok, the Ongjin County Governor, said, “Through this practical training for farmers, we will do our best to provide the latest information on new technologies for each product, as well as climate change response, farm work safety, and national interest contributions, so that farmers can learn more conveniently,” adding, “I hope this will help farmers achieve successful agriculture in each field.”
