Yeongdeungpo-gu has been awarded an ‘Excellent’ grade for six consecutive years in the ‘2024 Comprehensive Information Disclosure Evaluation’ hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. This evaluation was conducted on approximately 550 organizations including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions, and is a system that comprehensively evaluates a total of 11 indicators in five areas including advance information, original text disclosure, claim processing, customer management, and system operation.
Yeongdeungpo-gu scored 93.94 out of 100 in this evaluation, a 5.26 point increase from last year. In particular, it achieved a monumental achievement of achieving full marks in four indicators by receiving high scores in the areas of advance information and customer management.

The district has systematically organized information into 16 categories, including general administration and finance, based on the nature of the information, and has greatly improved the accessibility of information for residents by posting detailed information on the district website. As a result, the information list disclosure rate reached 99.8%, which has become an indicator proving Yeongdeungpo-gu’s transparent and proactive administrative operation.
In particular, the district clearly indicates the cycle and timing of publicizing information of high interest to residents, including budget execution details, major project progress status, and life-related information, and continuously provides updated data to increase the reliability of information. In addition, the number of views on the information disclosure bulletin board of the district office website is analyzed every half year to systematically understand residents’ information needs, and in a customer satisfaction survey targeting information disclosure requesters, it received a positive evaluation, scoring 9.27 out of 10.
Yeongdeungpo-gu Mayor Choi Ho-kwon said, “Achieving the excellent grade for six consecutive years is the result of all employees’ efforts to guarantee the residents’ right to know and realize transparent administration,” and added, “We will continue to further develop the information disclosure system and lead the way in administration that residents can trust and be satisfied with.”
