The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Geun-sik Jeong) produced a video on ‘Kindergarten-Elementary School Linkage Education’ to smoothly support the linkage and adaptation process between kindergartens and elementary schools, and released it on January 13. This material was designed to increase understanding among teachers and parents and to be used in educational settings.

This video, produced in cooperation with the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education Research and Information Institute, is 9 minutes and 34 seconds long and contains content to support smooth transition between kindergartens and elementary schools. The main contents are ▲the concept of connected education, ▲necessity of connected education, ▲participating entities, ▲specific operation methods, ▲educational effects, ▲field cases, etc. In particular, it is more vivid by including scenes of activities actually taking place in kindergartens and elementary schools and interviews with each subject.
This video can be viewed by anyone through the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education TV and the Education Research Information Center’s SamTV YouTube channel. Through this, the Office of Education plans to support teachers in empathizing with the need for connected education and in seeking directions for connected education together.
