Yangju City Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled announced on the 11th that it had received 1.3 million won in donations raised through the ‘Year-End Donation Challenge’ hosted by Yangju Running Crew.
Yangju Running Crew members practice running every day and participate in donations, contributing to the spread of a culture of sharing in the local community. The donations will be used for various events and programs for families with disabilities during the Lunar New Year holiday.
Seong Myung-hoon, the representative of Yangju Running Crew, said, “It was meaningful to be able to practice sharing through running,” and “We will continue to engage in activities that can contribute to the local community in the future.”

Kim Jeong-hee, director of the Yangju City Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled, said, “We are grateful for the warm support of the Yangju Running Crew,” and added, “We will use the donation transparently for the Seollal event to provide great help to families with disabilities.”
Meanwhile, Yangju City Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled is carrying out various sponsorship projects in cooperation with local resident groups and related organizations, and is continuously working to develop welfare for the disabled in the local community.
