Anseong March 1st Movement Memorial Hall Winter Vacation Special Program Held

Anseong March 1st Movement Memorial Hall is recruiting participants for its special educational program, ‘Meet Anseong Independence Activists at Gwangboksa Temple’ during the winter break.

This program consists of an educational experience that learns about the history of Anseong’s independence movement and the meaning of liberation history, and honors the spirit of sacrifice of our patriotic ancestors.

Gwangboksa Shrine enshrines 328 memorial tablets of independence activists, and the program includes learning how to offer flowers here and even experiencing making a pop-up book produced by the memorial hall.

The pop-up book making experience is aimed at upper elementary school students and provides a meaningful time to honor the noble spirit of independence activists.

The program runs from January 14 to February 11, and there is no admission fee. Applications can be made starting January 8, and for more information, please visit the Anseong March 1st Movement Memorial Hall website or call 031-678-2477.
