Goyang City, '2025 1st Native Speaker Video English Class' Student Recruitment

Goyang Special City (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced that it will be recruiting students for the first 2025 native English video lecture class until January 31. The goal is to improve citizens’ English skills and reduce private education costs by providing customized classes and free textbook files for each level.

Goyang Special City began accepting applications for the ‘2025 1st Native English Video Conversation’ class on the 7th. This program was designed to improve the English communication skills of Goyang citizens and foster global talent.

▲Customized class arrangement through level test

Students will be assigned to classes by level through a level test from February 3rd to 7th. The three-times-a-week class will run for a total of 24 sessions from February 10th to April 11th, and the two-times-a-week class will run for a total of 16 sessions from February 11th to April 3rd.

You can choose between 1:1 native speaker instructor classes and 1:3 group classes, so you can participate according to your individual learning style. In addition, discounts are provided on a first-come, first-served basis to socially disadvantaged people.

▲Free teaching materials provided and reasonable cost

Goyang City has signed a business agreement (MOU) with Englishtopia, a video English company, to provide textbook files free of charge. This allows citizens to participate in classes without the burden of purchasing additional textbooks.

In addition, it is expected to contribute to reducing citizens’ private education expenses by providing high-quality English education and services at a reasonable cost.
