Geumsan-gun Dementia Care Center will visit 350 community centers and senior centers in the county until the end of February to intensively conduct early dementia screenings for seniors aged 60 and older during the off-season . This activity focuses on early detection and prevention of dementia and improving the quality of life of patients and their families through appropriate treatment and support .

During the examination process, cognitive decline is confirmed through screening tests , and if cognitive decline is suspected, diagnostic and differential tests are conducted . In addition , for low-income families, some of the examination costs are supported to reduce the financial burden and encourage early detection .
Dementia is a disease that can slow down the progression of the disease or improve symptoms if discovered early and treated . An official from the Dementia Care Center emphasizes that it is important for seniors who have had a checkup in the past to get a checkup once a year .
