In addition, at new construction sites, we have presented safety management measures by focusing on ▲ the appropriate installation of temporary firefighting facilities, ▲ the placement of fire extinguishers and simple fire extinguishers, ▲ the placement of fire watchers when handling fire, ▲ the establishment of a rapid fire reporting system, and ▲ the safety evacuation plan for workers.

Chief Park Tae-won emphasized, “Winter is a time when the possibility of fires increases due to increased use of heating devices and dry environments,” and “Large businesses and construction sites must thoroughly prepare in advance because fires can cause significant damage.” He continued, “The fire department will also do its best to prevent accidents by having those involved voluntarily strengthen safety management and through continuous fire prevention activities.”

Sejong Fire Department plans to use this inspection as an opportunity to further expand fire prevention consulting at large businesses and construction sites within the jurisdiction. They plan to continue their efforts to create a safe work environment by urging officials to strengthen their fire surveillance system and systematically manage fire facilities.
