This exhibition, themed ‘The Great Transformation of Recycled Paper and Flight toward Wishes’, focuses on showing that recycled paper is not just waste, but a material that can tell new stories. Various recycled papers such as newspapers and wrapping paper are reborn as paper airplanes, and participants can have a special experience of writing their wishes on the airplanes and flying them into the sky.
In particular, this exhibition provides both environmental protection and creative experiences. It informs citizens of the importance of recycling through paper airplanes and helps them realize the infinite possibilities of paper. In addition, it provides an opportunity to share a message of hope by flying an airplane containing one’s own dreams and wishes.
The exhibition is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day, and anyone can participate for free. No separate reservation is required for participation, and you can experience it on-site on the day. It is closed on Mondays during the exhibition period.
This exhibition is a collaboration with BSPACE, a media art and digital content production company, to present more creative and unique exhibition content. This project, which artistically expresses the new role of recycled paper, is designed to be enjoyed by all ages.
An official from the Yongin Cultural Foundation said, “The <Make a Wish on a Paper Airplane> exhibition will provide citizens with a unique experience through creative experiences on the theme of environmental protection,” adding, “We hope that many people will participate in this exhibition and have time to think about the environment and their own dreams together.”
