The Goyang branch of the Korea Real Estate Board donated 100 bags of white rice to the Goyang City Hyangdong Community Welfare Center for the Lunar New Year holiday, and practiced sharing activities for the underprivileged in the region. This donation is part of the ‘Sharing Rice with Love’ project that is carried out continuously every year, and is greatly contributing to providing meals to low-income vulnerable groups.

Goyang City Hyangdong Integrated Social Welfare Center (Director Yang Bok-seon) announced that it held a ‘Sharing Love Rice’ ceremony together with the Goyang Branch of the Korea Real Estate Board (Branch Manager Kwak Young-eun) on the 16th.
At the ceremony on this day, the Goyang branch of the Korea Real Estate Agency donated 100 bags of white rice to needy neighbors in the region, continuing the warm sharing culture of the Seollal holiday. Following 2023 and 2024, the Korea Real Estate Agency has continued to practice rice sharing for the local community this holiday season.
Kwak Young-eun, the head of the Goyang branch of the Korea Real Estate Board, said, “I hope that my neighbors can enjoy a warm Seollal holiday without feeling left out,” and added, “It is a small act of sharing, but I am glad that this has become an opportunity to gift my neighbors with a bountiful holiday.”
Yangbok-seon, the director of Goyang City Hyangdong Community Welfare Center, said, “Thank you for visiting the welfare center every year without fail,” and expressed his gratitude by saying, “The rice sharing by the Korea Real Estate Board is a great help in supporting meals for low-income vulnerable groups in the region. We will do our best to convey our warm hearts to our local neighbors.”
The 100 bags of white rice delivered will be distributed to vulnerable households in Goyang City before the Lunar New Year holiday. This donation is expected to not only provide direct help to neighbors who are experiencing economic difficulties, but also have a positive effect on spreading the culture of sharing in the region.
The Korea Real Estate Board is a public institution that practices sharing and coexistence, and continues to carry out donation activities for the local community every holiday season. This year’s Love Rice Sharing activity went beyond simple product donations, conveying warm hearts to marginalized neighbors and adding meaning to the holidays.
