Anseong City Welfare Center for the Disabled, operated by the social welfare corporation Hangil Welfare Foundation, signed a business agreement with Anseong City Health Center on January 14 to create jobs for the disabled and support their social participation. This agreement is considered an important milestone in which the two organizations promised to cooperate to promote job stability and social participation for the severely disabled.
As part of this agreement, Anseong City Welfare Center for the Disabled will dispatch three Wheelmasters to Anseong City Health Center to perform duties in charge of managing and cleaning assistive devices. Through this, the scope of work for the severely disabled will be expanded and opportunities for providing practical jobs will be created.

Shin Hyeong-jin, director of Anseong City Health Center, said, “Creating suitable jobs for the severely disabled is difficult, but it is absolutely necessary. I am glad that this agreement has provided a foundation for the disabled to participate in society through stable jobs.”
Kim Deok-su, director of Anseong City Welfare Center for the Disabled, said, “This agreement will be an opportunity for severely disabled people to play an independent role in the community and increase their self-esteem. We will continue to do our best to create diverse jobs and develop careers.”
