The donated items will be distributed evenly to low-income households, single senior citizens, and other residents in need of support through the Jochiwon-eup Community Security Council. The helping hand is expected to be a great comfort to local residents going through economically difficult times.

Lee Jae-kyung, co-chair of the Jochiwon-eup Community Security Council, expressed deep gratitude for the donations and said, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the sponsors who practiced sharing even in difficult circumstances. I will make sure to deliver the items I received to my neighbors so that the local residents can have a warm Seollal holiday.”

Jochiwon-eup Mayor Kim Byeong-ho said, “Small acts of kindness and sharing can lead to greater good deeds,” and emphasized, “We will eliminate blind spots in welfare based on public-private cooperation and steadily promote welfare projects that fit the characteristics of the region to create a tight welfare safety net.”

The community’s continuous sharing activities are a great hope for the residents of Jochiwon-eup. In particular, the sponsored items delivered during the Lunar New Year holiday went beyond simple material support and became an opportunity to feel the warmth of the community being connected as one. We hope that the sharing activities of various organizations and groups in the region will continue in the future to spread happiness to more neighbors.
