Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) is holding the ‘2025 Neighborhood New Year’s Greetings’ from January 13 to 22 to celebrate the New Year of 2025. This event is designed to share the direction of district administration and communicate with residents by traveling to 16 neighborhoods.
The New Year’s greetings that started on the 13th in Myeonmok 2-dong, Myeonmok-bon-dong, and Myeonmok 3-8-dong were organized to include performances of autonomous community center programs and to introduce the main current status and special projects of the neighborhoods. In addition, meritorious residents who contributed to regional development were commended, and the vision and policy projects of the district were explained to increase residents’ interest.

On the 22nd, the opening ceremony of the newly renovated Junghwa 2-dong Community Center will be held along with a New Year’s party in Junghwa 2-dong, which will be the grand finale of this event. The district plans to closely review the opinions of residents presented at this New Year’s party and actively reflect them in future district administration.
Ryu Gyeong-gi, the mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, “I hope to communicate directly with residents through the New Year’s greetings and create the future of Jungnang together,” and added, “I will do my best to realize ‘My Pride, Our Jungnang’ with the active participation of residents.”
