Bucheon Youth Center (Director Hongjun Kim) successfully completed the ‘Music Production and Release Project’ to support youth and young adults in making their cultural and artistic dreams a reality.
The center conducted 11 sessions of training and education on writing lyrics, composing, arranging, and recording from July 27 to October 5 of this year, and produced original music created by the participants themselves. This project went beyond simple experience and provided tangible results, giving the participants the opportunity to take their first step on the path to becoming professional musicians.
In particular, the works created by the participants were released on December 16th under the name WARAK Compilation Album 1ST ‘TIME for DREAM’ on major domestic music streaming sites such as Melon, Genie, and Bugs, and received a lot of attention. In October, the music containing the participants’ efforts was also presented to the public through a showcase.
Center Director Kim Hong-jun said, “We will continue to provide active support so that teenagers and young adults with dreams of culture and arts can demonstrate their talents,” and added, “Please show a lot of interest and support for WARAK’s first album that was recently released.”

Bucheon Youth Center plans to actively support youth and young adults to pursue their dreams through various programs such as the release of WARAK’s second album, dubbing experience and performance, vocal and recording education, and the Warak Festival cultural arts performance next year.
This successful case of seven youths and young adults taking their first steps as singer-songwriters through the WARAK project is a good example of revitalizing local culture and arts and supporting youth growth. We look forward to much support and interest from the local community for their activities in the future.
