Geumsan-gun continued its achievements in the field of tax arrears by being selected as the best organization in this year’s comprehensive evaluation of local tax arrears collection , and was also selected as an excellent organization in the local tax auction agency competition jointly hosted by South Chungcheong Province and the Korea Asset Management Corporation .
This competition was organized to reduce high-value and chronic tax arrears and secure the soundness of local finances by activating the auction agency for seized properties for local tax arrears . Geumsan-gun was recognized for its performance in the excellent auction agency request category by requesting auctions for 259 million won in arrears this year .
The competition evaluation was divided into two categories: the excellent auction agency request category and the increase rate of auction collection performance category . Geumsan-gun increased the collection performance of local tax arrears through active auction requests and systematic management , thereby killing two birds with one stone: reducing arrears and securing stable tax revenue .
This achievement is significant in that it goes beyond simply collecting delinquent taxes and contributes to strengthening regional financial stability .
A military official said , “ We will continue to do our best to collect high-value and chronic tax arrears to the end to create a sound tax payment culture and secure stable tax revenue . ” In addition , we plan to further improve the efficiency of the local tax collection system by strengthening the use of seized tax arrears through auctions .
Geumsan-gun’s efforts to collect delinquent local taxes are contributing to securing regional financial soundness and improving tax awareness . This selection as an excellent organization is expected to serve as a foundation for establishing a sustainable local tax management system .
