Incheon Seo-gu, 2024 Proud Entrepreneur and Job Creator Award

On the 17th, Seo-gu, Incheon held an awards ceremony for entrepreneurs who contributed to the development of the local community and those who created jobs, and presented the ‘Proud Seo-gu Entrepreneur Award’ and the ‘Job Creation Merit Award’.

Incheon Seo-gu held the ‘2024 Proud Seo-gu Entrepreneur Award’ and ‘Job Creation Merit Award’ ceremony on the 17th, with the attendance of district head Kang Beom-seok. At this ceremony, eight entrepreneurs who contributed to local community development and economic revitalization and four who contributed to job creation were honored with awards.

A total of 8 people were selected for the ‘Proud Western Entrepreneur Award’, including Wolseong Electronics CEO Kim Gyu-hyung, DH Timber CEO Jin Se-woong, Hines CEO Park Geun-young, Mezzo Pharm CEO No Jae-guk, Yoo Sung Entec CEO Choi Ji-seong, Sangjin Engineering CEO Song Yun-dal, Taeheung Grating CEO Kim Wook-joong, and Wis E&C CEO Hong Young-sun.

Winners of these entrepreneurship awards will not only receive preferential treatment in various Western corporate support programs, but will also receive practical support, such as an additional 0.5% interest rate guarantee when borrowing from the Small and Medium Business Promotion Fund.

The recipients of the ‘Job Creation Merit Award’ were Yoo Ji-hyeon, an employee of the Social Cooperative Ilteowasaram, Kim Eun-ae, an employee of the Incheon Seo-gu Women’s Human Resources Development Center, Han Gong-seop, the CEO of BSC Co., Ltd., and Choi Ji-won, a manager of Vision Food Co., Ltd. They were recognized for their contributions to job creation and employment stabilization in Seo-gu.

Seo-gu Mayor Kang Beom-seok said at the awards ceremony, “I would like to express my gratitude to the businesspeople and contributors who have contributed to the development of the local community through innovative management and sincere efforts even in difficult circumstances,” and added, “I ask for your continued efforts and hard work on the front lines of management for a bright future for Seo-gu and the Republic of Korea.”

The awards are designed to recognize the contributions of Western businesses and local talent to economic vitality and job creation, and to support further growth in the future.
