Hanam City ( Mayor Lee Hyeon-jae ) announced that it was selected as the ‘ Excellent Cooperation Organization and Highest Recommendation of the Year ‘ by the Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters of the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation .

The Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters of the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation is a foundation that supports children in crisis . It works with 135 organizations (16 local governments and related organizations, etc. ) to discover and support children in crisis who are in blind spots of welfare .
Among them, Hanam City was selected as one of 18 excellent cooperative organizations in recognition of its active role in discovering and supporting children in crisis , and was awarded the ‘ Best Recommendation of the Year ‘ for its leading role in discovering and recommending subjects .
In 2024, Hanam City implemented a total of 11 projects (KRW 11.66 million ) including ▲ 6 welfare blind spot support projects ( KRW 6 million ) , ▲ 1 medical and housing support project ( KRW 4.16 million ) , and ▲ 1 family care child support project ( KRW 1 million ) through the support projects of the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation .
Mayor Lee Hyeon-jae of Hanam City said , “ This award is the result of our efforts to support children in crisis using private resources ,” and “ Hanam City will continue to do its best to eliminate blind spots in welfare and protect families in crisis . ”
