Uijeongbu City has been promoting various activities since last year to activate the Hometown Love Donation System. The main success factors include encouraging mutual donations through business agreements with neighboring local governments and organizations, and providing attractive gift items to donors through consulting with excellent suppliers in the region.

Mayor Kim Dong-geun said, “I sincerely thank you for the precious donations that have been made to Uijeongbu,” and added, “We will further activate the Hometown Love Donation System by discovering unique return gifts unique to Uijeongbu City so that both donors and excellent companies in the city can prosper.”

The Hometown Love Donation System is a system that allows you to donate to a local government of your choice, excluding your registered address, and provides tax deductions and the benefit of gifts such as local specialties. Through this, Uijeongbu City is simultaneously achieving two goals: revitalizing the local economy and improving the welfare of residents.

Donations can be made easily through the Hometown Love e-um website and at agricultural cooperatives nationwide, and donors can choose from a variety of gift items provided by Uijeongbu City.
