First, the Seoul Metropolitan Government is taking steps to manage the scene by maintaining a response system with related organizations such as the National Police Agency and transportation management agencies in the event of a rally or other related incident. Accordingly, it is taking measures such as monitoring and operating public transportation in the area.

City buses operating in the city center will cooperate with temporary detour operation depending on the police traffic control situation. The relevant routes will immediately resume normal operation when the control is lifted. Since detour operation may be performed depending on the weather and road conditions in the area such as Hannam-ro, it is helpful to check traffic information in advance. The applicable routes are as follows: 110A, 140, 142, 144, 400, 402, 420, 470, 472, 741, 3011, 6211, 9401, 9401-1, N13, N31, N37

In the case of the subway, depending on the on-site situation, flexible non-stop passage, safety management personnel to maintain order, management and guidance at station entrances and exits, etc. will be implemented.

Meanwhile, the city is providing real-time traffic information through bus stop information terminals (BIT), road electronic signs (VMS), and the Topis website (http://topis.seoul.go.kr/), as well as detailed information on road control sections. In particular, if the rally schedule continues on Monday the 6th, it is helpful to check traffic information in advance when using vehicles and public transportation to minimize traffic inconvenience on the way to and from work.

A Seoul city official said, “We will do our best to minimize inconvenience to citizens, such as public transportation operation, and to ensure the safety of transportation facilities,” and added, “We urge citizens to check traffic information in advance and use public transportation.”
