Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that it held a meeting of the Mental Emergency Response Council at the Eunpyeong-gu Health Center Mental Health Welfare Center on the 13th.
The Mental Emergency Response Council held meetings to review mental emergency situations between the public and private sectors, seek solutions, and discuss solutions to problematic situations.
The meeting was attended by ▲Eunpyeong-gu Council ▲Seoul Metropolitan Eunpyeong Hospital ▲Catholic University Eunpyeong St. Mary’s Hospital ▲Yonsei Seoul Hospital ▲Seoul Western Police Station ▲Seoul Eunpyeong Police Station ▲Seoul Eunpyeong Fire Station, etc.
Through the meeting, the council further strengthened the cooperative system to quickly respond to on-site mental emergency situations such as self-harm or harm to others due to mental illness and ensure safe transfer to medical institutions.
Eunpyeong-gu District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung said, “Securing public hospital beds at Yonsei Seoul Hospital in Eunpyeong-gu that can respond 24 hours a day has increased work efficiency in psychiatric emergencies,” and added, “We will continue to discuss with the council and make efforts so that residents can receive appropriate treatment services in a timely manner.”
