The Seoul Metropolitan Government has issued ‘Seoul Love Gift Certificates’ to revitalize local businesses and support small businesses. These gift certificates can be used in 25 autonomous districts across Seoul, and can be purchased at a 5% discount.

The total issuance amount is 60 billion won, the purchase limit is set at 300,000 won per person per month, and the holding limit is set at 1 million won. Gift certificates must be used within 5 years from the date of purchase, and a refund of the remaining balance is possible when 60% or more is used.
Purchases can be made through the ‘Seoul Pay+’ app, and you can shorten the purchase time by registering an account in advance for account transfer or card payment.
Also, on the day of issuance, to prevent a surge of simultaneous users, the purchase time is divided according to the last digit of the year of birth. Even numbers can be purchased from 10 AM to 2 PM, odd numbers from 3 PM to 7 PM, and after 7 PM, anyone can purchase up to the remaining amount.
The ‘Greater Seoul Love Gift Certificate’ can be used not only at offline stores, but also at Seoul City’s public delivery apps ‘Ddaenggyeoyo’, ‘WeMakePriceOh’, ‘Meokkaebi’, ‘Noljang’, ‘Romaket’, and ‘eSeoul Love Shop’, an online store exclusively for Seoul City small businesses within the Post Office Shopping Mall, which is expected to increase convenience for consumers.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government expects that through this gift certificate issuance, it will support small business owners who are struggling due to high prices and high interest rates, and alleviate the burden on households, thereby revitalizing the people’s economy.
