Goyang Special City (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced that it held the **’2024 Smart City Business Council’** in the city hall conference room on the 26th. This council was presided over by Lee Jeong-hwa, 2nd Vice Mayor of Goyang City, and 12 council members attended to discuss future strategies for the smart city.

The council continued with questions and discussions on expanding smart city infrastructure, establishing an integrated data management system, and introducing smart technologies in the areas of transportation, environment, and safety.
In particular, the Changneung-Tanhyeon District Smart City construction project aims to create a sustainable urban environment based on cutting-edge technology, and is attracting attention as a practical urban innovation model that citizens can experience.
