Yongin Special City announced on the 30th that it had awarded awards to 10 related organizations and companies that contributed to the development of the local economy and industry. Among the awardees that day, Yesty Co., Ltd. and Yunsung F&B Co., Ltd. donated 10 million won each to the underprivileged, practicing warm sharing in the local community.

Yongin Special City (Mayor Lee Sang-il) presented awards to 10 related organizations and companies that contributed to industrial development and economic revitalization at the mayor’s reception room on the 30th. This award was created to express gratitude to companies and organizations that worked hard to develop local industries throughout the year.
At the event, Mayor Lee Sang-il personally presented awards and congratulated and thanked the business executives. He said, “The Republic of Korea was able to grow from a country that received ODA to a country that provides assistance thanks to the efforts of businesspeople at the forefront of the economy,” and emphasized, “Yongin Special City will spare no effort in providing various support to help businesspeople grow even in difficult situations.”
In particular, Mayor Lee Sang-il mentioned the ‘Yongin Advanced System Semiconductor Cluster National Industrial Complex’ in which Samsung Electronics is investing 360 trillion won, and said, “Yongin is a city where many companies will continue to invest, and the city will focus on creating a business-friendly environment.” He added that he hopes businesspeople will start the new year off strong.

After receiving the award, Jang Dong-bok, CEO of Yesti Co., Ltd., and Kwon Oh-hwan, CEO of Yunseong F&B Co., Ltd., each donated 10 million won to help underprivileged communities in the region.
YesT Co., Ltd. is a KOSDAQ-listed company that produces semiconductor and display process equipment. It plans to build and relocate research and production facilities to Deokseong-ri, Idong-eup, Cheoin-gu, together with its affiliate Yes Heating Technics Co., Ltd. by 2026.
Yunseong F&B Co., Ltd. is a fishing gear company located in Pungdeokcheon-dong, Suji-gu, and has contributed to the local community by donating money to needy neighbors every year since 2019.
Yongin Special City plans to create a more vibrant economic environment through the continued participation and contribution of businesspeople in the local community and to work to spread a corporate culture that engages citizens.
