Geumsan-gun, the second half of the 8th local government, reorganization and regular personnel changes

Geumsan-gun has reorganized into a four- country system in the latter half of the 8th local government and has strengthened the dynamism and efficiency of its administration through regular personnel changes in the first half of 2025. This personnel change involves a total of 211 people , including promotions , transfers , and new hirings , and focuses on creating visible results for major projects and realizing the happiness of the people .

Geumsan County will implement the second half of the 8th local government reorganization as of January 1 , 2025 , expanding the existing two- department system to a four- department system . In the process, heterogeneous departments were separated and similar departments were integrated to strengthen the expertise and responsibility of directors .

The Planning and Strategy Bureau and the Safety Construction Bureau were newly established , and the existing Economic and Industrial Bureau was renamed the Industrial Environment Bureau . The Administrative and Welfare Bureau was maintained, but its departments were reduced from 78 to 45 to support efficient decision-making by directors, and it was reorganized . In addition , the position in charge of external agency correspondence was promoted to director level, increasing the weight within the organization and strengthening the reliability of administration .

The regular personnel changes for the first half of 2025 , implemented in accordance with the reorganization, were carried out on a total of 211 people, including 41 promotions , 145 transfers , 10 new hires , 13 leaves of absence / extension , and 2 retirement preparation training . The military gave top priority to position suitability and implemented communication-centered personnel management that reflects individual personnel grievances and working conditions .

The Planning and Strategy Bureau includes the Planning and Budget Division , Future Strategy Division, Tourism, Culture, and Sports Division, and Ginseng and Medicinal Herb Policy Division, while the Administrative and Welfare Bureau is in charge of the Autonomous Administration Division, Resident Welfare Support Division, and Family Policy Division. The Industrial Environment Bureau and the Safety and Construction Bureau are each comprised of departments for regional development and civilian safety , such as the Economy Division , Environment and Sanitation Division , Military and Civil Safety Division, and Urban Architecture Division .

This reorganization and regular personnel changes focused on laying an efficient foundation for the promotion of Geumsan-gun’s major policies , especially visible projects such as the Atopic Healing Village renovation . The goal is to maximize the performance of the 8th elected county government by increasing the speed and efficiency of administrative processing through simplification of approval procedures and assignment of responsibilities .

Park Beom-in, the governor of Geumsan County, emphasized , I intend to strengthen the substantive administration centered on the county residents through organizational restructuring and regular personnel changes, and I will do my best to create a happy Geumsan for the county residents by promoting policies that reflect the unique characteristics of Geumsan .

Geumsan County is entering the second half of the 8th local government term, establishing a systematic and efficient administrative structure and personnel system , and continuing to carry out substantial administration centered on the county residents . It is expected that the major projects to be promoted based on the reorganization will contribute to improving the quality of life of the county residents .
