Anseong City announced that it will expand the implementation of the ‘Hospitalized Child Care Service’, which provides care services to hospitalized children, nationwide starting this year.
This service was designed to minimize care gaps in dual-income families and to help hospitalized children recover.

Previously, the service was only provided to children aged 3 months to 12 years old who were hospitalized in hospitals in the Anseong and Pyeongtaek areas, but starting this year, all children residing in Anseong City can receive the benefit regardless of the location of the hospital.
The main content is that child care workers who have completed specialized training help children manage their meals and medication.
Services are available from 4 to 8 hours per day, up to a maximum of 90 hours per year.
Costs are differentially supported based on income, and detailed applications can be made through the Anseong City Family Center. Anseong City plans to strengthen service promotion so that more families can benefit.
