Mayor Yoon expressed his will to promote various policies for the senior citizens to live a lively and healthy old age, and he carefully examined the difficulties faced by the welfare facilities and encouraged the staff.

On the 2nd, Gyeyang-gu District Mayor Yoon Hwan attended the New Year’s greetings meeting of the Gyeyang-gu Branch of the Korean Senior Citizens’ Association, exchanged New Year’s greetings with the branch president Kim Dae-gi and other executives, and communicated with the local senior citizens.
At this event, branch president Kim Dae-gi expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thanks to the Gyeyang-gu Office’s careful assessment of the senior center’s aging living space and replacement last year, members were able to live in a comfortable environment.”
Afterwards, Mayor Yoon visited the Senior Welfare Center to inspect the status of the leisure welfare facility and listened to the difficulties that arose during the operation of the facility with the relevant staff. He encouraged the staff working on site and asked them to “do their best to provide welfare services that satisfy the elderly.”
Mayor Yoon Hwan said, “I am always grateful for the sacrifices and dedication of our seniors who have created a prosperous society,” and added, “We will actively support them through various policies so that they can enjoy a healthy and energetic old age.”
Goyang-gu plans to continue to improve facilities and promote various programs for the welfare of the elderly. Mayor Yoon plans to continue communicating with the elderly and expand customized welfare policies centered on senior centers and welfare facilities.
