The first step toward administrative innovation that leads the digital transformation era

Incheon Jung-gu Facility Management Corporation (Chairman Son Young-sik) has begun cutting-edge technology administration to improve the efficiency and quality of administrative work by introducing ‘Mirae’, a general-purpose work support artificial intelligence (AI) based on ChatGPT.

This introduction of ‘Future’ is the first step toward achieving innovation in the administrative operation of the industrial complex, development of local communities, and promotion of resident welfare in response to the era of digital transformation.

‘Future’ is a system developed and fine-tuned by the AI Coordinating Unit (ACU), the corporation’s in-house research and application organization. It is a customized design that reflects the corporation’s specialized administrative needs and automates various tasks such as document creation, civil complaint processing, and plan writing.

This is expected to provide an environment where employees can focus on important decision-making, and increase administrative efficiency and reliability. In addition, it is expected to contribute to providing better services to residents through quick and accurate administrative processing.

The corporation plans to continue to actively develop customized public services using artificial intelligence. A corporation official said, “‘Future’ is a collaborative tool that increases the efficiency of the corporation’s work, and it focuses on improving the quality of public services by cooperating with employees rather than replacing humans.”

Meanwhile, ‘Future’ was recognized for its achievements by winning the Encouragement Award in the Information Technology Innovation category at the Local Public Institution Innovation Awards at the Korea Local Public Enterprise Policy Forum on December 27, 2024.
