Cheonan City announced that it has published a new tourism guidebook titled ‘Cheonan is beautiful when viewed closely and for a long time’ to effectively promote the region’s abundant tourism resources.

This guidebook is composed of eight categories, including Cheonan’s 8 Scenic Views, Festivals, Culture, and Healing, to deeply introduce Cheonan’s representative attractions and unique culture. It contains a variety of information, including Cheonan’s natural landscapes and historical sites, as well as the region’s unique culture and festivals, so that tourists can experience Cheonan more richly.
In particular, it goes beyond simply providing information, and includes historical backgrounds and interesting stories about major attractions, as well as useful tips for visiting, along with photos to enhance practicality. Tourists can use this booklet to plan their trips and experience the various attractions of Cheonan firsthand.
The guidebook will be placed at major tourist locations, such as the Cheonan City Tourist Information Center and the Cultural Tourism Guide’s House, and will be easily accessible to both citizens and tourists.
Cheonan City Tourism Division Chief Lee Gye-ja said, “I hope that the newly published tourism guidebook will serve as an opportunity to further promote the beauty of Cheonan to domestic and international tourists,” and added, “We will continue to further develop the charm of Cheonan created together by citizens and tourists.”
Through the publication of this tourism guidebook, Cheonan City plans to shed new light on the region’s tourism resources, strengthen its competitiveness as a tourism city, and spur the creation of a tourism environment that satisfies both citizens and visitors.
