Anseong City holds Sustainable Development Committee

The sustainable development evaluation discussed that day was conducted with a focus on the connection between the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 36 unit projects, and through performance evaluation, the policy direction was supplemented and ways to realize a sustainable development city were sought in connection with ESG management principles.

In particular, Anseong City plans to further expand the roles of divisional committee members starting in 2025 and increase the sustainability of urban development through unit project implementation inspection and feedback processes.

Co-chairman Lee Sang-young said, “The sustainable development assessment is an important tool that presents a policy vision for the coexistence of present and future generations,” and added, “We will make Anseong a city of sustainable development through responsible assessment.”

The city plans to conduct quarterly unit business implementation monitoring next year, conduct an interim inspection in June and July, and conduct a final evaluation in November.
