The AI-based music copyright plagiarism detection platform ‘(MIPPIA)’ is gaining attention by surpassing 10,000 users in just one month of its launch. Developed by CEO Chan-ho Oh, a composer with 20 years of experience, MIPPIA is an innovative platform that helps musicians focus entirely on their creative activities without worrying about plagiarism.
Since its launch in July of this year, Mifiah has been growing steadily, and its real-time music plagiarism monitoring service introduced in November has been well-received. This platform aims to create an environment where musicians can protect their rights by more precisely checking for music plagiarism. CEO Oh said, “Music is a precious work that contains the sweat and passion of musicians,” and expressed his dream of a world without the worry of plagiarism.

What differentiates it from existing plagiarism detection services is that it thoroughly analyzes musical elements such as melody, rhythm, and harmony using AI technology, and automatically performs the inspection through audio files or YouTube links. In addition, the detailed analysis report is designed to be useful for legal review, maximizing user convenience.
CEO Oh Chan-ho recalled the difficulties and challenges in the early stages of development, saying, “I asked for help from many research institutes, but I had a hard time because there was no one willing to participate in the development of difficult technologies.” However, he said that with the help of a friend who has a doctorate in AI engineering from Seoul National University, he was able to meet an AI developer and, after a year of effort, was able to present Mifiah to the world.
Currently, Mifiah, which has over 10,000 users in 104 countries, has the potential to be a global service, and CEO Oh emphasized that “music copyrights should be protected without borders.” He expressed his ambition to “create an environment where musicians around the world can focus on their creative activities through Mifiah.”
Mifiah plans to contribute to the development of the music ecosystem through advancements in AI technology, strengthening global marketing, and copyright protection activities.
